Între 3 și 5 octombrie 2025, comunitatea pasionaților de rulotism, autorulotism și camping are un nou motiv de bucurie: la Aerodromul Mugeni, județul Harghita, are loc OktobeRV fest 2025 – ediția pilot. Evenimentul marchează lansarea oficială a unui brand de festival ce îmbină spiritul liber al caravaningului cu atmosfera tradițională și veselă a celebrului Oktoberfest bavarez.

With a successful trade fair appearance and two awards at the AutoBILD Reisemobil reader poll, Knaus Tabbert looks back with satisfaction on this year’s Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. 269,000 visitors once again underline the importance of the world’s largest trade fair for caravanning and mark the second-highest visitor numbers in the history of the Caravan Salon.
In Hall 1, the company presented the KNAUS, WEINSBERG, TABBERT, and T@B brands, as well as the rental brand RENT AND TRAVEL. The luxury brand MORELO attracted attention in Hall 16.
Readers of AutoBILD Reisemobil magazine gave special recognition to these campers: the KNAUS TOURER CUV took second place in its category. The innovative CUV concept combines the agility of a van with the comfort of a motorhome and is aimed at active travelers who value compact dimensions and clever space solutions.
The big winner was the WEINSBERG X-PEDITION, which took first place. With its striking off-road design, modern technology, and comfortable interior, it is ideal for adventurers who value everyday practicality.

CARAVAN SALON 2025 came to a highly successful close, impressively confirming its role as the world’s most important trade fair for mobile travel. With a high-caliber visitor base, international appeal and a wealth of innovations, the show provided important momentum for the future. „We are very satisfied – 269,000 caravanning and camping enthusiasts from 80 countries in Düsseldorf is an outstanding result and represents the second-best result in the 64-year history of this trade fair. Despite a difficult economic environment, we were able to attract new visitors who came with clear purchasing intentions. The consistently positive atmosphere was particularly impressive. The passion for mobile leisure was palpable in all halls. Our exhibitors report many promising contacts and very good sales – a strong signal and a powerful show of support for the entire caravanning industry in the coming season. My sincere thanks go to all exhibitors and to our long-standing partner, the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD),” says Marius Berlemann, Chief Operating Officer of Messe Düsseldorf.
The innovations on display reflect the industry’s innovative strength. The high level of media attention and the international audience also underline the importance of the trade fair as a central platform for the global caravanning community. „CARAVAN SALON is constantly evolving and impressively demonstrating its central importance – both as a high-caliber business platform and as an experience for the whole family. Its unique selling point is not only the variety of vehicles and products: in Düsseldorf, visitors experience the latest technology and developments in caravanning – combined with all the trend topics, innovations and visions for the future of the industry. With more than a third of visitors attending for the first time, CARAVAN SALON once again achieved impressive figures – a clear signal of the unbroken popularity and high appeal of caravanning. „In addition to numerous newcomers who used our special ‘StarterWelt’ show to gather initial information, many experienced motorhome and caravan owners also attended with specific purchase intentions. At CARAVAN SALON 2025, a record number of 810 exhibitors from 41 countries presented leisure vehicles, equipment and accessories for every taste and budget in 15 halls and the outdoor area.

The first weekend of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2025 confirmed the great interest in caravanning. Almost 90,000 visitors attended the world’s largest trade fair for mobile leisure over the first three days and were impressed by the unique range of products on offer in the 15 exhibition halls and the outdoor area.
„Mobile leisure holidays continue to boom and are very popular among all social classes and age groups. The CARAVAN SALON is so popular because Düsseldorf is the only place where visitors can find out about the latest products in the industry in such detail and also buy them directly at the trade fair. At the same time, the CARAVAN SALON is the world’s largest platform for industry professionals, who can exchange ideas and make contacts here,” says CARAVAN SALON Director Stefan Koschke.
However, visitors had to be patient on Saturday due to the large crowds. ‘For the second weekend, we recommend that caravanning fans use public transport due to the high number of visitors expected. As a result of the Ed Sheeran concert series, there may be traffic delays on the way back from the exhibition grounds,’ adds Koschke.
At CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, 810 exhibitors from 41 countries will be presenting motorhomes and caravans of all sizes and price categories, as well as base vehicles, accessories, technical equipment, conversion parts, tents, mobile homes, campsites, motorhome sites and travel destinations until 7 September.
North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister President Hendrik Wüst officially opened the 64th CARAVAN SALON on Friday, 27 August. Hendrik Wüst then took a tour of the exhibition and learned about the wide range of products and services on offer in the field of mobile leisure. The Minister President exchanged ideas with representatives of the industry at the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD) and various North Rhine-Westphalia exhibitors. The focus was on the challenges and opportunities of camping and caravanning tourism in North Rhine-Westphalia, climate-neutral energy concepts for campsite operators and the topic of sustainability.

pre-orders for the Launch Edition on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4. This opens up
